Voices for Children in Nebraska staff and volunteers have been surveying candidates for the Unicameral since 1996. Volunteers and members have asked pressing questions of the candidates for eight election cycles. This year, for the first time, we are publishing the full results so that voters can be better informed on where candidates stand on the issues that are important to children. All candidates were mailed copies of the survey, informed that their answers would be published, and state candidates were asked to limit their responses to 150 words. The results printed are the verbatim answers we received approval to publish.
