Legislative Update
The Legislative Update tracks the progress of all bills affecting children each legislative session. Approximately 250 legislative bills affecting children are presented annually. The Update is published electronically on a biweekly basis throughout the legislative session.

GIRL Report
Through a partnership with Camp Fire USA, Girls, Inc., Girl Scouts - Great Plains Council, Women's Fund of Greater Omaha and the YWCA, Voices for Children in Nebraska produced a report on the status of girls in the Omaha Metro area.

Family Assistance Resource Guide
The Making Ends Meet guide was developed to assist families in determining their eligibility for various benefit programs such as WIC, Earned Income Tax Credit, and Kids Connection. Due to high demand, Voices for Children is out of printed 2006-2007 guides. An updated guide will be available in Spring 2008.

A Guidebook for Conducting Rural Research: Utilizing Focus Groups and Key Informant Interviews
A project of the Rural Great Plains Collaborative Project exploring economic opportunity, social networks, services and supports that affect rural families. A guidebook describing the process for analyzing conditions in rural communities through the use of focus groups.

A report examining the strengths and challenges of raising a family in a rural Great Plains community produced through a partnership of Voices for Children in Nebraska, North Dakota KIDS COUNT! and the South Dakota KIDS COUNT Project.

A Guidebook Addressing the Relationship Between Domestic Violence, Child Care and Economic Self-Sufficiency Resouce Guide
A guidebook for professionals including child protective service workers, domestic violence workers, and public assistance staff to better understand the link between domestic violence and child abuse and to better address the needs of children living in homes where family violence exists. Produced as a partnership of Voices for Children in Nebraska, the Nebraska Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition, and the Nebraska Health and Human Services System in 2000, this guide is available upon request from Voices for Children.
